The Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office was established in 1854 and has been proudly serving the community ensuring justice through dedicated service and sacrifice. While our community continues to grow and evolve, so does the Sheriff’s Office. With the election of Sheriff Brad Thurman, the Sheriff’s Office has begun a new era in policing for Cowlitz County with a commitment to ensure the quality of life for all citizens.
