What Does The Cowlitz County Weed Control Program Do?
The Weed Program assists landowners and landmanagers with resources, information, and management tools to successfully control noxious weeds and to prevent seed dispersal to neighboring properties and throughout the county. The following services are available to the public:
Community Education
Booths at Fairs and County Events
Noxious Weed Presentations
Enforcement of the Weed Laws
Respond to weed complaints
Identify noxious weeds on private, state and federal lands
Provide landowners with control methods and recommendations
Conduct visits to properties to identify noxious weeds when requested by landowners
