She is a member of WACME (the Washington Association of Coroner's and Medical Examiners) and is also on the board as their secretary
She is passionate about serving the community and finding answers for the loved ones left behind.
Community education and awareness is a very important part of this office.  We feel that providing information to our school age children will help keep them safe and hopefully allow them to make better/smarter choices when it come to their overall health and safety. We also feel that if we can provide more information to other groups, regarding the dangers we are seeing with the increase in drugs, the increase of motor vehicle deaths due to alcohol consumption, deaths of infants due to co-sleeping, amongst other situations, maybe we can help prevent more of the "preventable" deaths and hopefully save those families the grief of losing a loved one, or help someone think about what they are about to do so that they can make better choices so that they can spare "their" loved ones the grief of losing them.
