Become a Licensed Septic Professional in Cowlitz County

An OSS professional (installer, pumper, and operations and maintenance provider) must submit the correct type of application annually. Your application packet should include the following:

• Completed Certificate of Competency Application: (Installer/O&M Provider OR Pumper)
• Proof of passing the applicable WOSSA examination
• Proof of liability insurance
• Proof of bond coverage
• Proof of certification on any proprietary treatment products you wish to work with
• $400 certification fee in the form of cash or check (made payable to Cowlitz County HHS)
