Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing Canceled Dec. 22 & 23

LONGVIEW, Washington — Due to unanticipated staffing limitations, drive-thru COVID-19 testing offered by the Cowlitz County Health and Human Services (CCHHS) Departments and Medical Teams International will not be available on Tuesday, Dec. 22 and Wednesday, Dec. 23 as planned.

Testing is expected to resume next week at the Cowlitz County Fairgrounds (1900 7th Ave, Longview, WA 98632) from 1-6pm on Tuesday, Dec. 29 and 8am-noon on Wednesday, Dec. 30. The testing site will stay closed for the holidays on Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1.

CCHHS apologizes for the inconvenience and wants to assure the public that increasing access to COVID-19 testing is a top priority, especially through the holiday season.

For those who need to get tested this week, CCHHS recommends contacting their healthcare provider. A list of options for testing in Washington State can be found on the Washington State Department of Health's COVID-19 testing locations webpage.
