Cowlitz County Point in Time (PIT) Count Data
The PIT is a one-time count of people who are sheltered (staying in emergency shelters and temporary housing) or unsheltered (places not meant for human habitation). The State completes the sheltered count for all counties by pulling data from the Homeless Management Information System, which can be found by visiting https://bit.ly/3yxpNWL. Cowlitz County Health & Human Services and community partners conduct the unsheltered count, which is found below.
