The Information Technology Department provides computer-related technology support and services to the departments and offices of the county.
The department maintains and supports the local (LAN) and wide-area (WAN) networks which connect the various county offices and agencies, providing access to budgetary, payroll, assessment, and taxation databases, as well as the internet and electronic mail services.
In addition, the staff provides systems and programming development services using state of the art tools to automate county processes and functions.
