[ARCHIVED] Press Release: Cowlitz Landlord Training-Creating Healthier Communities

On Saturday, September 21, 2013, the Cowlitz County Health Department and Cowlitz On The Move will sponsor a unique, one-day Landlord Training that can help make managing a rental property easier and contribute to the health, safety, and peace of residential rental neighborhoods. As part of the Community Transformation Grant (CTG) program through the Health Department, this training will be focused on Washington State landlord-tenant laws and practices, including new tobacco and marijuana laws, and will be presented by John H. Campbell, a nationally-recognized expert on landlord-tenant problem-solving.

Landlords and rental property managers are encouraged to register and attend this upcoming training:
TIMES: Check-in starts at 8:00 a.m. Training 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Cowlitz PUD Auditorium, 961 12th Ave, Longview, WA
LUNCH: Will be provided to registered participants
PARKING: Parking available in PUD lot and street parking
COST: Free to registered participants
