Posted on: June 17, 2019[ARCHIVED] Burn Ban in effect beginning June 21, 2019
Effective Friday June 21, 2019, Cowlitz County, in cooperation with partnering agencies, will enact restrictions on outdoor burning. All land clearing, residential and silvicultural burning will be restricted until the ban is lifted.
Outdoor burning is typically restricted each year between July 15TH and September 30TH, however, due to current conditions of increased fire danger the ban will be enacted early this year. It is expected that the ban will remain in effect through September 30, 2019.
