[ARCHIVED] Press Release: Building Closures on April 24th

In order to allow County employees to participate in the Memorial Service for Deputy Justin DeRosier, and in anticipation of limited staffing levels, most County buildings will be closed.

With the exception of the Hall of Justice, Jail Courtroom, and Juvenile Court, all other County buildings will be closed Wednesday.

Because the Courts are legally mandated to be open on judicial days absent specific emergencies, the Superior and District Courts will be open for court business on Wednesday, April 24, 2019.

Because of limited staff levels, Court sessions will be adjusted as follows:

The Juvenile Court will be operating from 8:30 am until approximately 10:00 am – no court in the afternoon.

The Jail Courtroom will be operating as normal from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.

All court proceedings for both District and Superior Court scheduled at the Hall of Justice will proceed as scheduled.

If you have specific concerns or questions regarding business with a certain department or office, please contact that department or office directly.
