The Cowlitz County Health & Human Services Departments which are currently located in the Colonnade Building at 900 Ocean Beach Highway will be moving to a different location October 21, 2016. This move will take the departments back to the1952 9th Avenue building where they were located prior to 2012, just a few blocks away.
During the move, Cowlitz County Health & Human Services will be closed and most services provided by staff at the Ocean Beach Highway building will be unavailable to the public Friday, October 21 through Monday, October 24, 2016. Health & Human Services 9th Avenue operations will open for business as usual at 8:30 am on Tuesday, October 25.
Health & Human Services will continue to have two locations for environmental health programs. The environmental health programs currently located at the Ocean Beach Highway building will relocate to the 9th Avenue building. The environmental health programs currently located at the Cowlitz County Administration building in Kelso will remain at that location. Hours and days of operation for the services at the Kelso location will remain unaffected during the move.
