PRESS RELEASE: BRYCE JACKSON PLEADS GUILTY TO INTIMIDATING A JUDGE, OTHER CHARGES

On February 5, 2026, Bryce Jackson plead guilty Intimidating a Judge, Threat to Bomb or Injure, Felony Harassment of a Criminal Justice Participant, and Custodial Assault.  Jackson’s threat to the judge was made during a court hearing in the jail courtroom on his other charges.  Because his threat involved a local Cowlitz County Judge, a visiting judge from another county handled the plea and sentencing hearing.  Jackson was sentenced to a total of 77 months in prison.   The State was represented by Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Haley Jaskula.
