[ARCHIVED] PRESS RELESE: HAMILTON CONVICTED OF CHILD MOLESTATION-1, INDECENT LIBERTIES

HOJ

After a 5-day trial, a jury found Christopher Hamilton guilty of Child Molestation in the First Degree and Indecent Liberties. Based on the evidence presented at trial, the jury found that between 2016 and 2018, Hamilton had sexual contact with a minor under the age of 12 for purposes of sexual gratification. The jury also found Hamilton had sexual contact with that same victim, and she was incapable of consent due to being physically helpless. The State was represented by Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Jake Lervold. We appreciate the assistance provided in this case by the Woodland Police Department. Hamilton is scheduled to be sentenced March 17, 2026.
