Hearing on the 2021 Cowlitz County Noxious Weed List

The Cowlitz County Noxious Weed Control Board will hold a public hearing regarding the 2021 Noxious Weed List on January 13, 2021, at 6:20 PM. The public hearing will occur on GoToMeeting due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and proclamation 28-20. The purpose of this hearing is to obtain public testimony for changes to the noxious weeds selected for control in Cowlitz County. The regular monthly board meeting will follow the public hearing, at which the 2021 Noxious Weed List will be adopted as outlined in RCW 17.10.090. Any person may attend the online hearing and meeting, and may comment either for or against the proposed changes to the 2021 County Noxious Weed List. Comments may also be submitted by email to noxiousweeds@co.cowlitz.wa.us or by regular mail to Cowlitz County Noxious Weed Control Board; Administration Annex 1st Floor; 207 Fourth Avenue North; Kelso, WA 98626.
