Volunteer Opportunities

The Cowlitz County Noxious Weed Control Board participates in several volunteer events each year where you can help. Volunteers are always needed to assist with projects. Please join our mailing list by clicking the Notify Me tab to the left of this page to receive information on upcoming events.
We provide the tools needed and guarantee you a rewarding volunteer experience. Safety if very important to us, so expect this to be our number one priority.

Some of our projects include, but are not limited to: 
  • Plant surveys and mapping,
  • knotweed tours,
  • Weed pulls,
  • Assist the elderly and disabled landowners with noxious weed control and,
  • Habitat restoration.
