Developmental Milestones | Skills such as taking a first step, smiling for the first time, and waving "bye bye" are called developmental milestones. Children reach milestones in how they play, learn, speak, act, and move (crawling, walking, etc.). |
Parent’s Place | Parents’ Place is a 28 year old non-profit family resource center dedicated to promoting a community commitment to healthy parenting, strengthening and supporting families and ensuring the well-being of children of all ages. |

Head Start/ECEAP | The Lower Columbia College Head Start, Early Head Start (EHS), and Early Childhood Education Assistant Program (ECEAP) provides quality early childhood education experiences. Services available to children and families who meet eligibility requirements. |

Longview School District | Any child with a suspected disability, who is 21 years old or younger, may be eligible for special help in school. If you know any child, from birth to 21 years of age who has, or may have, a disability, please contact Longview Public Schools at (360) 575-7008. The school district will help determine if a child is eligible for special education services. |
Kelso School District | Kelso School District will ensure that all students with disabilities who are eligible from birth through 21 years of age, residing within Kelso attendance area, have available to them a free and appropriate public education in the least restrictive environment. You can initiate a referral through your local schools. For children under school-age a screening appointment may be set by calling 360-501-1672. |

ESD 112 (Kalama, Toutle) | The ESD 112 Specialized Education ESA is unique in Washington State. This ESA provides a free and appropriate education to students that are eligible for special education services in 28 districts that have joined together to pool resources (i.e., staff, equipment, expertise, materials, etc.). The ESA serves districts’ children with disabilities and their families effectively and economically. |

TeenLink | The Teen Link help line offers phone (6–10 p.m.) and chat (6– 9:30 p.m.) support by trained youth volunteers. Youth call for all types of reasons. At Teen Link, no problem is too big or too small. |

Crisis Text Line | The Crisis Text Line offers 24/7 emotional support and information support to teens in any type of crisis, including suicide, by trained volunteers via texting. You can text with a trained specialist 24 hours a day. |
Teen Line | The teen line offers peer support by teens for teens through a hotline (6–10 p.m.), a text-line (5:30–9:30 p.m.), a message board, and email. It also provides a blog, information, and resources. |
Your Life Your Voice | This site offers four ways to get help – youth can talk counselors 24/7, they can chat Monday – Friday from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m., text from 4–1 a.m. (CST), or send an email. There are tips on coping skills, dealing with grief, and many other important topics, a bulletin board, and videos. |
988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline | If you’re thinking about suicide, are worried about a friend or loved one, or would like emotional support, the Lifeline network is available 24/7 across the United States. |
