Auditor's Records

Preservation of Records

Over the years, the method used for recording documents has evolved from a system of manual transcription in ledger books, to digitally scanning and indexing documents. Documents recorded prior to 1986 are available at Washington State Archives.  We offer most documents, recorded after 1986, online.

Types of Records

The Auditor's Office records and provides access to over 150 types of documents. We do not interpret documents nor do we check documents for accuracy.
