The Office of Financial Management (OFM) is a division of the Office of Administrative Services.
OFM facilitates the Board of Commissioners in developing a fiscally sound budget for the operation of county government in its provision of services to the citizens of the county. The office does this by effective planning and maintenance of budgetary control over expenditures, providing revenue forecasts and analysis of cash flow activities of county departments.
OFM acts as liaison between the Board of Commissioners, department heads, and elected officials on financial matters. OFM also oversees the administration of the PeopleSoft financial accounting systems including human resources, payroll, and financial processing and reporting in order to discharge the financial responsibilities of the county in a legal, accurate, and ethical manner.
