Raj and Kamnee Narain
Homicide Investigation #87-8753
In the
fall of 1987 two bodies were found in local rivers over a two-week
time frame. One of the bodies was a female child, and the other a
female adult who had been partially dismembered. The deaths were
determined to be homicides. Attempts to identify the two were
unsuccessful.
In
April 2006, information was obtained that led to the DNA
identification of the two as Raj
and Kamnee Narain (mother and
child). The deceased are Fijian Indians who lived in Eugene, Oregon
at the time. In November 2007 their remains were claimed by family
members and returned to Fiji.
Attempts to locate the father/husband, Ashok Narain, have been
unsuccessful. He is listed as a missing person.

Vicki Garcia (Chamberlain) death investigation #03-10686
Vicki Garcia was last seen at the
Golden Cue, a tavern in Kelso, Washington, about 0100-0130 hours on
10-03-1999. She had been attending a birthday party for a friend.
Vicki never arrived home after leaving the Golden Cue. Kelso Police
conducted an in-depth missing person investigation at the time (KPD
99-10375) .
On 08-12-2003, a boy located a skeletonized
human skull while playing in the woods near his home. The recovery
site is a very overgrown portion of wooded hillside off Broken
Mountain Drive in rural Cowlitz County. The remains were identified
as Vicki Garcia’s from dental records.
Anyone who may have seen Vicki the night of her
disappearance, knows how she got to Broken Mountain Drive, or has
any information about this case is asked to call the Cowlitz County

Case #73-10115
On December 22nd, 1973,
a homicide was committed at the
Longview Port Docks. The Captain of the cargo vessel
Mediterranean Darby,
Luk PO CHAN, was shot
and killed by a person wearing a ski mask, believed to be a
white male in his late 20’s. The ship’s First Officer,
Lau Ching Lee, was
shot and wounded.
The suspect apparently went
on-board the ship with the intent to rob the payroll money.
First Officer Lee would now be in his late 60’s. Many people
were contacted and interviewed as possible suspects in this case
but no arrests were made.
Both Lee and Luk were from Hong
Kong at the time of this incident. If anyone has information

Case
#96-15059
Phylis Lewellen
missing since Friday evening, December 27, 1996 from her home at 504
John St., near Kelso, WA. At time of disappearance: age 36, 5'6",
120 pounds, long strawberry blond hair, blue-green eyes. She has a
distinct Southern accent and was wearing jeans, a white sweatshirt, a
western-style coat and rubber-soled slippers when she disappeared.
Possibly Driving: 1981 Peugeot - Light blue four
door sedan 538ERL - Washington license plate. Possibly traveling with
a pet female Rottweiler.
According to a Daily
News story published at the time of her disappearance, her
husband, Bill Lewellen said he fears foul play may be involved, and he
noted she departed "under perfectly good circumstances. She was
in a great frame of mind. She wanted to . . . go out and take a drive
and just be by herself and think."
Shortly
after the time of her disappearance Bill Lewellen told a Daily News
reporter that Phylis has not used their credit card or withdrawn money
from any of their bank accounts.
An extensive search, at the time of her disappearance, did not
locate her, the car, or the Rottweiler.
