Welcome to the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office website. Our web designers have done a terrific job of putting together pages of information that will assist you in finding interesting facts and answering questions that you may have. The men and women of the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office are some of most, if not the most dedicated law enforcement, support staff and emergency management personnel and volunteers in the State of Washington. The number of hours and amount of effort shown by these public servants make me extremely proud to be working along side them. Cowlitz County is a beautiful place to live and work. The people are friendly and community minded. When you look around, you will see that there are things happening here all the time that benefit every age group here. Are there issues here in Cowlitz County? Of course! That’s what we’re here for. When the need arises, the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office is here to help. We investigate crimes, deal with traffic issues, search for the lost, rescue the injured and are constantly working to better our preparedness to do all of those things. Are there drugs and thieves in Cowlitz County? Yep, but I’ve got a great staff that works awful hard to keep those issues to a minimum. It’s really what we live for: catching crooks.
