The Victim-witness Division of the prosecutor’s office
assists victims of and witnesses to crimes committed throughout the county. The
victim-witness staff will assist them through the criminal justice system,
helping them file for financial aid through the State’s victim-witness
reimbursement program and attempting to alleviate their many concerns and
anxieties.
