Current Election
August 6, 2019 Primary

Ballots will be mailed to voters on July 19, 2019. If you have not received your ballot by July 26, 2019,  please contact the Elections Office in order to receive a replacement. Click here to view the 2019 Primary Sample Ballot.

You now have the option to check your ballot status after it has been sent! The Voter Portal allows you to view the status of your ballot, request a replacement by mail, and see when we've received your ballot. Just select 'Ballot Status' under the tab 'My Ballot'.

Ballot return envelopes now include a prepaid postage, so there's no need to worry about a stamp. You can return your ballot through the mail, through a ballot drop box, or by dropping it off at the Cowlitz County Elections Office. It's that easy!

Ballots must be postmarked by August 6th or returned to one of the ballot drop boxes by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. It's important that these deadlines are kept so that your vote is able to be counted.

Drop boxes will be open to receive ballots until 8:00 p.m., after which they will be closed and no new ballots will be accepted. You can view our Ballot Drop Boxes here.
