THE COUNTY-FUNDED SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICE SYSTEM
|
The county-funded substance abuse service
system is made up of two kinds of services: Substance Abuse Treatment Services
and Substance Abuse Prevention Services. These services are usually provided
through contracts between the Board of County Commissioners and local service
agencies, although the Human Resources Department provides one of the Substance
Abuse Prevention Services. SAAB planning responsibilities relate only to these
county-funded services. |
