The
Human Services Department is held accountable for contracts to provide
services from local providers and agencies for government funded
programs. In turn, they monitor and evaluate the contracted providers
and agencies for contractual compliance.
Advisory Boards for Mental Health,
Substance Abuse, and
Developmental Disabilities are comprised
of citizens appointed by the Cowlitz County Board of Commissioners.
Each Advisory Board reviews and provides recommendations on plans,
policies, and programs.
