Jim Zdilar, Director of Human Resources
The Department
of Human Resources develops and administers the County’s personnel
programs to contribute to sound utilization of human resources and
promote fair employment practices; negotiate and administer labor
contracts for eleven bargaining units; aids managers of County
departments in staffing, training, compensating and providing
personnel benefits for employees; and ensures the County’s
compliance with state and federal laws and regulations concerning
personnel practices.
The
Cowlitz County Department of Human Resources, headed by Jim Zdilar, is located in Kelso, Washington at the County
Administration
Building.
