Appointment Information
Testing and Treatment of STIs at the Health Department are available:
Tuesdays: 3:00-5:30 (walk-ins by availability but appointments preferred)
Thursdays: 1:30-4:30 (by appointment)
Appointments can be made by calling 360-414-5599. Costs are on a sliding fee scale.

Mission of the Program
To educate the public about sexually transmitted infections and help prevent the spread of sexually transmitted infections in Cowlitz County.

Services Provided
Diagnosis and treatment of Gonorrhea and Chlamydia.
HIV testing and counseling.
Availability of condoms.
Information on the prevention and treatment of STIs.
Prevention
Practice abstinence or mutual monogamy.
Be aware that many STIs have no symptoms.
Know that birth control pills do not prevent infections, they only prevent pregnancy.
Use a new latex condom and spermicide every time you have sex.
Limit alcohol and drug use before having sex.
Don't use or share intravenous street drugs.
