The Cowlitz County Code as of December 31, 2000
and subsequent updates (Ordinances) are available for viewing
using Adobe Acrobat Reader. The Cowlitz County Code is
officially updated once a year. The Code of Cowlitz
County is a complete codification of the general Ordinances
and Resolutions of the County of Cowlitz, Washington and is
intended to be a useful manual and ready reference for all
citizens. All Ordinances and Resolutions, of a general or
permanent nature, are conveniently arranged in the Code by
subject. Ordinances and Resolutions which are not of a general
or permanent nature are not available in the Code or through
the Ordinances link available on this website.
The Ordinance
and Resolution provisions are divided into titles, chapters
and sections. Each section is followed by a legislative
history in parentheses. Footnotes referring to applicable
state law and cross-reference to other related Code provisions
appear throughout this volume. The index is keyed to the
numbers of the Code. Code provisions are from time-to-time
amended, repealed or supplemented by later-enacted
legislation. To ensure that a relevant current Code section is
up-to-date since the last supplement you should check the
ordinances adopted since the last update.
