Communication Center (911)

The Cowlitz County 911 Center is the primary Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for all police, fire, and medical emergency 911 calls in Cowlitz County, Washington, U.S.A.

We provide both emergency and non-emergency dispatch services for six law enforcement agencies, six fire / EMS agencies and one private ambulance company.


A 911 Dispatcher is…One of the most important people you will never see.


Cowlitz County is seeking to fill 1 (one) 911 Dispatcher position.  Applications for this position will remain open until filled. 
After this position has been filled we will continue to maintain a list of eligible applicants for future openings.  Position information and testing requirements are located and administered by Public Safety Testing.
