The Cowlitz County Corrections Department is a criminal justice agency dedicated to providing and managing progressive correction services in an efficient, effective, and a socially responsible manner.

Our goal is to provide cost effective services while maintaining safety for the community, staff, and offenders.

Administration

Director Marin Fox supervises the Cowlitz County Corrections Department, a criminal justice agency that includes the divisions listed below:

Jail

The Jail Division provides a safe and secure jail service for all of Cowlitz County detainees.

Probation Services

Hall of Justice - 1st floor

The Probation Services Division provides cost-effective supervision to offenders who are referred by the District and Municipal courts.

Offender Services

The Offender Services Division offers a wide array of alternative sentencing options to local judges as well as services for inmates.

Volunteer background packets will only be accepted on Mondays and Fridays (holidays excluded) 9 am to 3 pm (Your photo will be taken when the completed packet is turned in). The next Volunteer Orientation will be held February 24th at 7 pm at the County Jail. If you arrive late you will have to wait of the next one.
