Please be advised that due to a scheduling conflict, the Cowlitz County Noxious Weed Control Board has rescheduled their August 14, 2019 meeting to Monday, August 12th at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will be held in the 2nd Floor Conference Room of the Cowlitz County Administration Annex Building, 207 Fourth Avenue North, Kelso, Washington.

A public hearing will be held to adopt the 2018 Noxious Weed List for the Cowlitz County Noxious Weed Control Board. The hearing will be held February 14, 2018 at 6:00 PM, in the Cowlitz County Annex Building, second floor meeting room at 207 Fourth Avenue N., Kelso, WA 98626. Any person may appear and be heard either for or against the adoption of the proposed 2018 County Weed List. An open public meeting will follow the public hearing.

The Noxious Weed control Board of Cowlitz County submitted a public notice for publication in the Daily News, for the expiring term of the Weed District #5 representative, on December 15th and 22nd, 2017 for anyone interested in serving on the Noxious Weed Control Board. Appointments are conducted per the rules outlined in RCW 17.10.050.
The Noxious Weed Control Board of Cowlitz County held a hearing on January 10, 2018 to consider all applicants. Immediately following the hearing, the Weed Board held its regularly scheduled public meeting to discuss any and all applicants for the expiring term. The Weed Board nominated Mr. Eino Suomi to serve as the Weed District #5 representative.
